Summary
Badella Farm and Ranch offers structured livestock participation programs that involve real agricultural operations. These programs carry inherent risks that participants must understand and accept before committing. This document outlines those risks clearly and completely.
Livestock Health Risk
Cattle are living animals subject to health challenges including disease, parasitic infection, injury, and mortality. These risks exist regardless of the quality of management, veterinary supervision, or feed protocols.
We employ professional veterinary oversight and documented health protocols to minimize these risks. However, livestock mortality and health setbacks are natural agricultural occurrences that cannot be fully eliminated. Participants should understand that cattle under their participation may experience health issues or mortality.
Market Risk
The market value of livestock is subject to fluctuation based on supply and demand dynamics, seasonal factors, feed cost changes, and broader economic conditions. These factors are entirely outside our control.
The value of your participation at cycle completion may be higher or lower than the value at the time of commitment. We do not hedge against market risk on behalf of participants.
Operational Risk
Ranch operations involve personnel, infrastructure, logistics, and external inputs. Disruptions can occur due to staff changes, infrastructure issues, supply chain problems, or external events such as natural disasters or regulatory changes. We maintain contingency protocols for key operational risks, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operations in all circumstances.
No Guarantee of Returns
Badella Farm and Ranch does not guarantee any specific financial return, yield, profit, or outcome from participation in our programs.
Any projections, estimates, or indicative figures discussed during consultations are illustrative only and subject to the risks described in this document. Past performance of any livestock operation, including ours, is not indicative of future results.
Participant Responsibility
- Participants are responsible for their own due diligence before committing to any program.
- Participants should only commit funds they can afford to subject to agricultural risk.
- Participants should seek independent financial or legal advice if they are uncertain about participation.
- Participants should read all documentation provided before signing any agreement.
Acknowledgement
By proceeding with a participation program, participants acknowledge that they have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that they accept the agricultural risks described herein, and that they understand no returns are guaranteed.
Questions about this disclosure should be directed to our team before committing.
