Transparency & Risk Disclosure
We choose to be transparent. Here is exactly what you should know before participating in our programs.
Our Transparency Commitment
We publish this disclosure because we believe transparency builds trust. We are not required to share this level of detail — we choose to. If any of this information concerns you, that is the correct response. Please read it fully before committing to any participation program.
01.Livestock Health Risk
Cattle, like all living animals, are subject to health challenges including disease, injury, and mortality. We employ veterinary supervision and structured health protocols to minimize these risks, but we cannot eliminate them entirely. All participants should understand that livestock mortality is a natural agricultural risk.
02.Agricultural Market Risk
The value of livestock is influenced by market conditions, including supply and demand dynamics, feed costs, transportation costs, and broader economic factors. Prices at the end of your participation cycle may be higher or lower than prices at the start. We do not control market prices, and we do not guarantee specific outcomes.
03.Operational Risk
Ranch operations involve logistics, personnel, infrastructure, and external dependencies. While we have documented protocols and risk mitigation systems, operational disruptions can occur. We communicate transparently when they do, and we maintain contingency plans for key operational scenarios.
Insured by Leadway
All cattle allocated under our participation plans are covered by Leadway insurance. Leadway Assurance Company is one of Nigeria's foremost insurance providers, regulated by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
Insurance is activated at the point of cattle allocation — before your participation cycle begins. You receive an insurance certificate as part of your onboarding documentation. Coverage remains active throughout your participation cycle.
This coverage is included in all three participation plans — Single Cattle Growth, Double Cattle Growth, and Premium Livestock Participation — at no additional cost.
What We Commit to in Return
Transparency is not just about disclosing risk — it is about how we operate and communicate on a daily basis. These are our operating commitments to every participant:
- Provide regular, accurate operational reports at the agreed frequency
- Disclose all material operational issues to participants promptly
- Never obscure or minimize risks in our communications
- Maintain documented protocols for all operational activities
- Activate Leadway insurance on your cattle at point of allocation
- Provide full documentation of your participation from start to finish
